CONTEXT
The COVID-19 crisis has affected the whole world since January 2020. The big question as to the management of patients is played out today with hospitals and their capacity to welcome patients. The lack of intensive care beds and the lack of personnel force the managers of these public hospices to choose and sort the patients, from the most to the least serious. This situation has been going on for almost a year. So I thought about the best way to help hospitals manage patient flows and not waste time organizing places to be allocated in hospitals.This is a major public health issue that must not get worse or else it will not be able to contain the global pandemic.
THE PROJECT
Why this project?
My project HEALTHWAY lies in the organization and apprehension of the care of patients of all kinds. The aim is to enable hospitals and staff not to waste time managing remaining or occupied beds.
Thanks to a database filled in day by day, doctors could have an overview of the reception capacities of the hospital in which they work. In fact, this database made up of surnames,
first names, ages, dates of arrival and discharge as well as the reason for the presence, could save time, money and save lives. The long-term project and share it with firefighters
and emergency personnel so that they can go directly to where there is room.
Who does this application concern?
This application is designed to reach all hospital staff, especially hospital managers, doctors and nurses, to help them improve their work and time management.
HOW DO TO IT IN A FEW HOURS
1. First, you will have to access to some resources and files to start:
- A website to create and link your database : FIREBASE
- A Glitch account to create your webpage and developed your idea
- Some skills to create and use HTML & CSS
- A bit of patience to make it alive !
2. Few stapes to help you build your own app !
- a. The first thing to do is to create a Glitch account to allow you to access HTML and CSS functions, as well as JavaScript if necessary.
- b. Then you will need to go to the Firebase site and develop your own database in which you will include data from your own hospital activity.
- c. Don't forget to import the database using the code given by Firebase. You need to copy it into your Glitch.
- d. You can search any information you want, just make sure the glitch knows it in the code!
- e. Finally, you can model your site and application as you wish, so don't hesitate to make it attractive!
